Market Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Analyst to join our commercial organization at Shearwater GeoServices. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting client engagement, sales, marketing, and investor relations.

• Support proprietary acquisition and signal processing services sales through regular analysis content, qualitative and quantitative business insights.
• Establish key account processes, govern Salesforce (structure and data), and support Shearwater's executive teams with analyses (market, competition, financial, and customers).
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the exploration market dynamics, including industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to drive growth.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions, leveraging tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.

• Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, business administration, or economics.
• 5+ years of commercial and analytical experience, preferably in the marine seismic industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, as well as accounting and finance basics.
• Organized and strategic mindset, with a hunger for collaborating within an international and multidisciplinary company.
