Career Opportunity: Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to lead and execute process engineering tasks for both tender and project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appointed as Process Lead on tenders and projects.
  • Work closely with the Discipline Manager to set project objectives for the process team.
  • Ensure all deliverables are technically accurate, within scope, budget, and schedule, and comply with quality procedures and project plans.
  • Develop control narratives for complex process systems, C&E, and be responsible for FAT.
  • Develop and assist other process engineers in creating key design documents, including H&MB, PFD, P&ID, DataSheets, line sizing, PSV, and equipment sizing.
  • Proficient in process software such as Hysys.
  • Act as a representative in Technical Design Reviews, including P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, client, and vendor meetings.
  • Assist project engineering leads and managers in project design and execution according to contract and client needs.
  • Skilled in writing technical reports, scopes of work, and Technical Queries.
  • Identify problems and discrepancies in work processes, suggest improvements, and seek assistance when needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong Chemical Engineering Background: Solid foundation in chemical engineering principles.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Standards Knowledge: Good knowledge of industry standards.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in process engineering.
  • Fluent in process simulation software (Hysys or similar).
  • Competent in control systems with relevant experience in developing control narratives for complex systems.
  • Site experience is an advantage.
