Firmware and electronics specialists play a vital role in the development of cutting-edge automation solutions. As an Embedded Systems Engineer at AutoStore, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing real-time embedded systems for our innovative robotics platforms.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement firmware and software for real-time embedded robotics systems
  • Troubleshoot, test, and debug embedded systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with electronics and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software
  • Participate in cross-disciplinary R&D projects for system improvement and new product development
  • Contribute to quality assurance and performance testing processes

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Cybernetics/Robotics, Embedded Systems, or a related field
  • Strong skills in Git, Embedded C/C++, and Python
  • Some knowledge about designing and developing reusable firmware libraries and modules is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Practical experience in mechanics and electronics is a plus
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent language skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
