At energy-as, we're seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our material engineering efforts. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for leading the study and detailed engineering phases of projects within the company's materials discipline.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of materials technology, as well as experience in procurement packages and supplier performance monitoring. Your expertise in discipline review of certificates and procedures related to materials, welding, NDT, and surface treatment is also essential.

You will provide valuable insights and assessments on materials and corrosion-related damage mechanisms, preparing critical documentation and reports along the way. In this position, your strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as PTIL, NORSOK, and API standards, will enable you to drive quality and efficiency across the project lifecycle.

Key qualifications for this role include a bachelor's or master's degree in materials technology or a relevant field, coupled with extensive relevant experience that may compensate for formal education. Furthermore, 5-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including maintenance and modification work, is highly desirable.
