Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer (Mid-Level) with strong hands-on experience in Angular to join our Forecasting Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to designing and developing tools that help forecasters analyze, interpret, and communicate weather insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop high-quality, maintainable frontend code using Angular.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature requirements.
  3. Design and implement intuitive UI solutions that meet user needs.
  4. Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.
  5. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  6. Contribute to the improvement of our internal forecasting tools, enhancing their usability and decision-making capabilities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing frontend applications using Angular.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and REST/JSON.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with frontend test frameworks (unit, integration, and E2E).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub actions.
  • Professional fluency in English; knowledge of Norwegian is beneficial.
  • Must be able to work from Bergen, Norway, in a hybrid work mode.
