Data Management Expert Wanted

We're IndyKite, a pioneer in data management, and we're looking for a skilled Go developer to join our team. As a key contributor, you'll work on designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures that power our applications and services.

Your Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing RESTful, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs, and microservices to support new features and integrate third-party systems.
  • Contributing to the overall architecture, ensuring it is scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available.
  • Monitoring and improving system performance, reducing latency and optimizing resource usage.
  • Implementing robust security practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization.
  • Working closely with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration between backend services and the user interface.
  • Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Monitoring system health and resolving any operational issues.
  • Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for APIs, database schemas, and system processes.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with backend development using Go language.
  • Strong experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful, gRPC and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in version control using Git.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
  • Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless solutions.
  • Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and asynchronous task queues.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Experience with Agile development practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
