About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our Health, Safety & Environment Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment.

Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional with experience in managing occupational health and safety matters. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective safety strategies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with our production teams to identify potential hazards and develop measures to mitigate them. This will involve conducting regular inspections, audits, and investigations to ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on safety performance and compliance
Requirements
  • Higher technical education in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental science)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong knowledge of Norwegian language and culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
