Position Overview

Statkraft is advancing the digital transformation of customer journeys and processes, having developed an intelligent Market Access platform (iMA) tailored for physical products and services in the Nordic region. iMA facilitates interactions with industrial clients and large consumers, serving as a preparatory tool for the future of power markets.

The platform features a customer portal that acts as a comprehensive resource for our clients, offering demand-side flexibility, intelligent market access, business intelligence & analytics, and risk & contract management. Essential offerings include products for purchasing physical power in day-ahead, intraday, and balancing markets.

Built on cutting-edge cloud technology, the platform employs flexible functionalities and integrates seamlessly with both internal and external systems through APIs.

We are in search of a Senior Software Developer to join our cross-functional iMA product team, which comprises professionals from various business and IT departments. This specialized software development team at Statkraft is dedicated to delivering top-tier software solutions across all business domains.

On a technical level, we provide a diverse array of solutions, ranging from web applications to sophisticated analytics tools. Custom software development is crucial for Statkraft to maintain its leadership position in the renewable energy sector.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be integral to the iMA product team, focusing on customer-centric products and services. You will collaborate with other highly skilled developers, and your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the technical platform with an emphasis on architecture, design, and security. Additionally, you will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the iMA platform.

Your qualifications include:

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Over 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles.
  • Proficiency as a Fullstack .NET developer (C#) with expertise in:
  • React, Typescript, and Azure Functions
  • Azure services such as ServiceBus
  • Kubernetes
  • REST API design and implementation
  • SQL Server
  • OAuth2 authentication flows
  • Strong communication skills in English and either Norwegian or Swedish
