Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team at Kongsberg Maritime, a global leader in marine technology. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving our testing strategies, automating testing processes, and executing tests to ensure the quality of our products.

• Collaborate with the test team to explore, learn, and analyze complex systems to create innovative tests
• Develop and improve test strategies with test architects
• Automate testing by creating and improving test systems and scripting tests
• Execute tests, including automated, manual, and exploratory testing
• Design, build, and maintain test environments
• Strive for continuous improvements in testing processes and procedures

• Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, cybernetics, or a related field
• Experience and interest in software development and testing, particularly with large and complex systems
• Ability and interest in working with programming languages, including Python
• Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, Grafana, and Prometheus is an advantage
• High technical understanding and ability to learn
• ISTQB certification is an advantage
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
