Manufacturing Operator

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator to join our team at Kongsberg Discovery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and quality-controlling our high-tech products. Our products operate in challenging environments, requiring meticulous processes to ensure their performance.

You will work closely with a dedicated, technically competent, and quality-focused team. Your primary responsibilities will include performing assembly and testing according to established procedures, ensuring products meet necessary quality standards, and reporting and following up on any deviations discovered. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, structured, and has a high focus on quality and HMS. If you thrive in working independently with your tasks, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate test equipment.
• Assemble, load, bond, and inspect products.
• Contribute to the company's HMS work and support the team you will be part of.
• Focus on continuous improvement.
• Communicate findings, deviations, and improvement opportunities with the team leader, product owner, and other Kongsberg employees.

Qualifications and Experience

• A trade certificate in electronic production or a related field is an advantage, with necessary training provided.
• Experience in production, assembly, repair, testing, or similar.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.

This position may require security clearance from the National Security Authority, clearance from the Aviation Authority, or a background check.
