About the Role

Our client, a specialist business and technology consultancy, is seeking an experienced IT Project Lead and Technical Consultant to power their ability to adapt to change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, motivating members to foster innovation and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning within the project team.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience in IT, preferably with a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Your expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA) will be invaluable in this role. Additionally, your exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with your ability to influence and motivate teams, will help drive success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT, with at least 10 years in a senior role overseeing complex IT projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in telecommunications or managed services industry is advantageous.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
