Job Overview
We seek an experienced Norwegian medical professional to participate in simulated doctor-patient conversations. Your role will involve accurately pronouncing complex medical terminology while engaging in scripted dialogues with an actor playing the patient. The goal of this project is to develop and enhance the accuracy of our innovative speech recognition system tailored for medical use.
Responsibilities
- Read and perform scripted medical conversations in Norwegian with an actor portraying the patient.
- Evaluate each dialogue to ensure precise pronunciation of medical terms for optimal audio quality.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to maintain high standards of recording and guarantee the data meets project requirements.
- Participate in scheduled recording sessions either remotely or at designated locations, if necessary.
Requirements
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- A degree in medicine or relevant qualification in the healthcare sector (e.g., doctor, nurse, or other medical professionals).
- Native-level fluency in Norwegian.
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and its correct pronunciation.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver natural-sounding scripted conversations.
- Bonus points for experience in audio recordings or voice work, but not required.
