We are seeking a seasoned leader to head our Pollution discipline, driving professional development and maintaining a competitive team of employees. As a key member of our Executive unit Water and Environment, you will play a vital role in executing our strategy FUTURE-NOW, delivering services on projects within all our prioritized sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and role model according to COWI's leadership behaviours and values
  • Ensure the well-being of your employees and maintain a good working environment
  • Foster personal development for your employees
  • Evaluate the need for new hires and coordinate the hiring process
  • Collaborate with other Head of Disciplines, market and project directors, and Vice President
  • Provide project management or specialist input to projects
Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for a leader who believes in setting a clear and meaningful direction for their team, supporting them in taking ownership of their work, and coaching them to achieve their aspirations through constructive feedback. You should have experience in leading others, project management, and aspects of pollution, contaminated sites, or related fields. A minimum bachelor's degree in geology, environmental studies, or a related field is required. Fluency in Norwegian or other Scandinavian languages is essential.
