About the Position

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and industrialization of advanced battery materials at Vianode. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the industrialization of Vianode's anode graphite technology
  • Participate in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities and drive our goal of zero injuries
  • Support process and technology development with theoretical modeling and simulation
Required Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in engineering, physics, mathematics, chemistry, or a related field
  • Experience with finite element modeling, preferably using Comsol Multiphysics, and familiarity with 3D, AC/DC, heat transfer, and CFD calculations
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in industry
  • Ability to connect theoretical calculations, analytical methods, physical observations, and process measurements to ensure model validation
  • Experience with additional modeling tools like HSC, Metsim, or similar may be beneficial
  • Good knowledge of English (working language), with knowledge of Norwegian being an advantage
  • Interest in EV, battery, and battery materials

  • Good communication and presentation skills in both Norwegian and English
