Head Energy Operations Engineer

As a key member of our operations team, the Head Energy Operations Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce. This position requires a high level of expertise in working environment risk management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing input to design basis for working environment assessments.
  • Contributing to reviews such as preparation of Term of Reference documents.
  • Performing working environment assessments to identify potential risks and hazards.
  • Following up on vendor packages to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluating accessibility of workspaces and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Designing human-machine interfaces (HMI) that prioritize user experience and safety.
  • Conducting noise and vibration assessments to minimize their impact on workers.
  • Assessing chemical risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in safety engineering or relevant education.
  • Relevant technical education, such as an MSc or BSc degree.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in working environment risk management.
  • Experience working on Oil & Gas projects.
  • Knowledge of Norsok standards.
  • Excellent cooperation and teamworking skills.
  • A proactive mindset and strong communication skills.
  • The ability to inform and persuade on complex matters through proposals, presentations, and reports.
