ROLE PURPOSE
The NDT Inspector oversees the construction activities related to their discipline, ensuring compliance with project HSSE, quality, and scheduling requirements as outlined in the construction execution plan (CEP). Management of a team of Supervisors and collaboration with Quality Verification Inspectors for their discipline is essential.ROLE CONTRIBUTION
To foster a safe working environment on-site, the following responsibilities are key:
Provide leadership to ensure that the HSSE plan is comprehended and executed by the Supervisors assigned to their discipline.To meet Group/Project Quality standards, the following actions are required:
Lead the understanding and implementation of the Quality Plan by the Supervisors/Inspectors assigned to their discipline. Direct the site Quality verification team for their specific scope.To achieve Mechanical Completion (A-Scope), the following tasks must be accomplished:
Ensure that Supervisors and Inspectors are familiar with SBM Construction and Completions processes, with clear roles and responsibilities. Monitor yard productivity and manpower allocation to meet construction schedule milestones. Review and approve yard construction procedures related to their discipline. Ensure adherence to the Inspections and Test Plan (ITP) by their team. Review and approve all Quality Verification Documentation systematically. Maintain and compile Manufacturing Data Records (MDR) consistently. Keep an updated as-built dossier. Compile and issue Discipline Inspection Test Reports (ITR-A's and associated Punch list) for approval and logging into the Completion database. Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure compliance with Required On Site (ROS) for materials. Assist the Material Controller in conducting Receiving Inspections of materials and equipment related to their discipline.PLEASE NOTE: Applications submitted without NDT certificates will be automatically disqualified.
