Key Responsibilities:
- Culinary Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to kitchen staff to promote innovation and quality.
- Menu Development: Create menus that showcase culinary expertise and cater to diverse tastes.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen activities, including meal preparation, plating, and presentation.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure adherence to strict food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Team Management: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Culinary Arts Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Proven Experience as a Chef in a Restaurant or Food Service Setting
- Knowledge of Various Cooking Techniques and Equipment
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and Under Pressure
- Attention to Detail and Creativity in Menu Creation
- Excellent Time Management and Organizational Skills
- Food Safety Certification (a plus)
