About the Position:

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering company that is revolutionizing the battery industry with sustainable anode graphite solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and industrialization of our cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the industrialization projects in Vianode, leveraging your expertise in FEM modelling and process development.
  • Participate actively in HSE activities and take ownership of our goal of zero injuries.
  • Support the development of new processes and technologies, utilizing theoretical modelling and analytical methods.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master or PhD in engineering, physics, mathematics, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience with FEM modelling, preferably Comsol Multiphysics, and ideally with 3D, AC/DC, heat transfer, and CFD calculations.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from industry.
  • Ability to connect theoretical calculations, analytical methods, physical observation, and process measurements to ensure model validation.
  • Experience with additional modelling tools like HSC, Metsim, or similar may also be relevant.
  • Good knowledge of English (working language), and knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage.
  • Interest in EV/battery/battery materials.
Personal Skills:
  • Structured and methodical approach.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to contribute to teams and communicate effectively in both Norwegian and English.
