This role is for a highly skilled FPSO System Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design development of the marine systems on a FPSO, ensuring that they meet governmental requirements and Company Technical Requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marine systems, including ballast systems, cargo systems, tank vent systems, drain systems, FW/SW systems, and diesel systems. They will also have experience with engineering practices for oil & gas projects and be familiar with relevant Company and NORSOK requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with contractors in the early phase to ensure that their design meets HSE, technical quality, operability, and cost optimization standards. You will also contribute to preparing internal documentation and securing life cycle information.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a MSc/BSc in a relevant engineering subject, minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, and good multidisciplinary and interface understanding of an offshore oil and gas marine segment. You will also need to have strong HSE focus, commercial mindset, and ability to communicate, analyse and systemize information effectively.
