LWD/MWD Operations Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MWD/LWD engineer to join our team at TN Norway. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and will be responsible for delivering high-quality MWD/LWD services to our clients.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering LWD services on-site, including tool preparation, BHA assembly, data acquisition, and quality control
  • Ensuring the accuracy of formation evaluation and drilling mechanics data
  • Collaborating with clients' representatives on geology, petrophysics, and drilling efficiency areas
  • Daily interaction and reporting to our onshore operations team

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an MWD/LWD engineer
  • Halliburton MWD experience is required
  • Sonic, Formation Testing, and NMR experience is essential
  • EarthStar and relevant reservoir mapping tools experience is also required
  • iStar technology experience is advantageous
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field is preferred
  • An offshore safety and health certificate is mandatory
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in a Scandinavian language is required
