Job Overview

The Environmental & Sustainability Manager role at Nexans is a key position responsible for overseeing the company's environmental and sustainability strategies. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in HSSER scope, project-driven companies in marine and/or land-based renewables industry, and international experience. They must be comfortable being seen as a thought leader in HSSER internally and externally.

This role requires excellent interpersonal, team player, and communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is essential. A strong understanding of ESG principles, sustainability reporting, and regulatory requirements is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cascading the overarching Business Group level philosophy and practical application
  • Developing and implementing E&S strategy and development, management system, sustainability, compliance, reporting, and incidents
  • Being the ultimate decision-maker on any environmental and sustainability topic
