Operation Smile Norway is part of a global nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free, life-changing cleft surgery and comprehensive care. Our team in Oslo supports these global efforts through advocacy, fundraising, and awareness-building.
About the Role:
The Philanthropy Specialist will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, preparing sponsorship proposals, and tracking partnership outreach and fundraising progress. This includes engaging with donors, reporting on partnership outreach and fundraising progress, and maintaining a pipeline of prospective donors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising & Partnerships: Research funding opportunities, prepare sponsorship proposals, and track partnership outreach and fundraising progress.
- Donor Engagement: Engage with donors, report on partnership outreach and fundraising progress, and maintain a pipeline of prospective donors.
- Partnership Management: Manage partnerships, track partnership outreach and fundraising progress, and maintain a pipeline of prospective donors.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of nonprofit experience (preferably in fundraising).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Fluency in Norwegian & English (both written and verbal).
- Experience in sales, business development, events, and grant writing is a plus.
