About the Role

Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pipe Support Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pipe support designs for our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop pipe support systems for complex projects, ensuring compliance with NORSOK standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including layout, stress, and other disciplines, to ensure effective communication and alignment of designs.
  • Generate accurate and detailed designs, drawings, and documents, and conduct thorough checks to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Utilize 3D modeling software (PDMS/E3D) to create pipe support designs and ensure seamless integration with other systems.

Requirements:

  • Possess a strong educational background in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in pipe support design, with a focus on 3D modeling and NORSOK standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of piping stress calculations and piping support design principles.
  • Valid offshore certificate and ability to work in Norway.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, with excellent communication skills.
