About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our team at OMNIVISION. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and development of advanced CMOS Image Sensors (CIS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and verification of digital IP for CIS, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Define chip-level architecture, taking into consideration power, performance, and area trade-offs, and build module specifications.
  • Perform logic synthesis, collaborate with the backend team for floor planning, static timing analysis (STA), and design for test (DFT).
  • Participate in project planning and progress tracking, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Full-chip integration and verification, ensuring seamless integration with other design components.
  • Silicon bring-up, validation, and debug, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Minimum MSEE + at least 4 years of experience, or BSEE + at least 6 years of digital design experience.
  • Expertise in ASIC design flow, including RTL coding, simulation, logic synthesis, STA, and DFT.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the chip development cycle, from design specification to tape-out, chip validation, and debug.
  • Knowledge of assertion-based formal verification and ASIL is a plus.
  • Image processing/DSP knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English as a working language.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas.
