Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to lead our technical projects in Norway. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with Norwegian and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement process designs, equipment sizing, and selection strategies.
  2. Conduct thorough process hazard analyses and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and efficient project outcomes.
  4. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  5. Ensure adherence to Norwegian regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of technical expertise.
  6. Prepare and review technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and datasheets.
  7. Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing technical insights and expertise.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, with at least 4 years on Norwegian projects.
  3. Proficiency in Aspen Hysys or Unisim is mandatory.
  4. Strong understanding of Norwegian regulations and standards.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; proficiency in Norwegian is highly desirable.
  6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Knowledge of offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities.
  2. Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental considerations in process engineering.
