Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our Infrastructure Support Team in Kristiansand, Norway or Oslo, Drammen. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and review Azure Infrastructure architecture, including the migration of on-prem environments.
  • Develop strong understanding and experience in microservices-based implementations in Docker/Kubernetes or cloud-based PaaS solutions.
  • Define standards and processes for Azure provisioning.
  • Leverage automation scripts to manage script changes.
  • Design Azure DevOps strategy.
  • Build a DevOps process as per project requirements on Azure DevOps.
  • Automate end-to-end infrastructure provisioning through IaC frameworks - ARM, Terraform, Azure CLI & PowerShell.
  • Recommend migration solutions and consolidation strategies with Azure DevOps tools.
  • Manage infrastructure configuration and secrets.
  • Manage security and compliance with Azure DevOps.
Requirements
  • Thorough experience in designing microservices architectures with Docker, Azure Containers, and Azure Kubernetes Services.
  • Experience in migrating infrastructure workloads (VMs, applications, databases, etc.) to Azure.
  • Experience in recording machine IOPS and allocating VMs based on client workloads.
  • Experience in network monitoring using tools like Fiddler and Wireshark.
  • Experience in Azure backup strategy, setting up domain controllers, configuring AD application proxy.
  • VM provisioning, PowerShell scripting, dynamic and static routing, configuring Microsoft internal/external load balancers.
  • Configuring VNets, subnets, configuring Azure Active Directory sync, configuring network security groups (NSGs), access control lists (ACL).
  • Configuring NICs, configuring high availability of SQL servers, and setting up disaster recovery for cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and other DevOps platforms - Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible.
  • Knowledge in Azure data services, RDBMS - SQL, Oracle.
