Electrical Senior Engineer Heat Trace Role

Techconsult AS is seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Engineer to join our team in Asker, Oslo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing heat trace solutions for our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement heat trace cable designs for onshore and offshore projects.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure heat trace requirements are met.
  3. Manage and maintain heat trace engineering register information.
  4. Generate heat trace ISOs from Aveva E3D.
  5. Contribute to the development of heat trace MTOs.
  6. Participate in meetings with fabrication and engineering teams.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical heat trace design for onshore and offshore projects.
  3. Deep knowledge of electrical design standards, including NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
  4. Familiarity with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks.
