About the Role

Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Valve Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Valve Engineer, you will be responsible for leading front-end studies and ensuring the detail level for study classes for discipline deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Instrument scope - valves for front-end studies.
  • Ensure technical solutions are in line with client and authority requirements.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, clients, and vendors to ensure all aspects are covered.
  • Prepare technical philosophy documents, sketches, drawings, and indexes.
  • Prepare material lists (MTO) with input for weight and cost.
  • Prepare input to risk and opportunity registers and reports.
  • Prepare input to main equipment lists (MEL) with dimensions, weight, and cost.
Requirements

You must have a Master's, Bachelor's, or Technical College degree in Instrument Engineering. Relevant experience and proven records of previous delivery on studies and projects may substitute academic qualifications. You must have experience with NORSOK and studies within oil and gas projects.

You must have extensive knowledge and experience within the instrument discipline, particularly in valves. You must also have knowledge of PSV's, actuated on/off valves, and control valves.

Good communication skills in English and Norwegian are required. You must be available for work in Norway or willing to relocate.
