TechnipFMC is committed to driving real change in the energy industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Director to join our team.

Job Purpose

Our Quality Assurance Director will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. They will develop and implement quality control systems, conduct audits, test products, document results, collaborate with teams, train members, investigate complaints, analyze data, and report on quality metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks of supplier/internal manufacturing records to authorize the shipment of parts according to engineering and project requirements.
• Oversee all quality assurance processes and ensure that standards are met, including reviewing and approving GSOP, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as necessary.
• Resolve complex technical queries related to materials, NDE, welding, coating, and lifting.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and investigate customer complaints and nonconformances.
• Lead or participate in investigations to resolve quality issues using quality and lean tools.
• Train team members on quality control measures to enhance services.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all customer and internal audits, including preparing for audits, guiding the team through the audit process, responding to audit findings, and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction with the quality of our products and services.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, including identifying opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes, and monitoring the effectiveness of these changes.
• Identify and improve gaps in engineering requirements, including traceability and specific processes.
• Support in providing quality requirements during the design stage.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality functions.
• Thorough technical understanding of industry standards (API, ISO, ASME, ASTM, NORSOK, DNV), engineering practices, manufacturing techniques, material engineering, destructive and non-destructive testing, measuring instruments, and engineering drawing.
• Ability to read, interpret, and make decisions on acceptance of various reports according to industry and TechnipFMC standards/engineering requirements/project requirements.
• Thorough experience in using various applications for day-to-day execution, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, and SAP/ERP.
• Hands-on experience in resolving nonconformances.
• Hands-on experience in quality and lean tools for problem-solving.
• Good communication skills to work with global functional teams.
• Proficiency in mentoring and training.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts based on the need (global regions: US/ER).
• Ability to manage stakeholders.
• Good to have process or product audit experience.
