Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Engineer to join our Public Sector sales organisation. As a client-facing sales consultant, you will be responsible for presenting product offerings and solutions in the best light to prospects and customers to meet their business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer goals and challenges, as well as the ability to map those back to the Salesforce product portfolio. You will design, build, and demonstrate unique and innovative solutions to address these challenges, showcasing deep familiarity with the PaaS, SaaS, and Agentic AI stack.

In this role, you will participate in all appropriate product, sales, technical training, and certifications to acquire and maintain the necessary knowledge to be effective. You will also work closely with sales colleagues and the rest of the SE organisation to coordinate and lead the entire client functional and technical solution cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead the client functional and technical solution cycle in collaboration with sales colleagues and the SE organisation.
  • Understand customer needs and establish Salesforce's product as the best solution that solves unique challenges.
  • Convey a deep understanding of the Public Sector industry and technology as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions.
  • Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, building and presenting customized demos of Salesforce products to key decision-makers.
  • Participate in product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain essential knowledge.
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
  • Respond efficiently to RFPs.
