Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecom Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in EPCI modification and/or maintenance projects, ensuring functional design solutions, and executing technical procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in EPCI modification and/or maintenance projects.
  • Act as discipline responsible for some projects.
  • Ensure functional design solutions, both within own discipline and towards other disciplines.
  • Execute and co-ordinate technical procurement activities.
  • Perform field surveys both onshore and offshore.
  • Specify and prepare new and update existing layout.
  • Prepare engineering documentation, termination, and loop design.
  • Specify and prepare data sheets.
  • Document and follow up vendor – instrument/automation packages.
  • Prepare job cards.
  • Prepare MTO for bulk and tagged items.

Requirements:

  • Relevant education – Master, Bachelor, or Technical college/skilled worker with long experience and craft certificate.
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Telecom Engineer.
  • Experience with offshore related/oil & gas/NORSOK projects – installation experience.
  • Broad knowledge of deliverables within Telecommunications for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
  • Network design skills, including fiber optic and network cabling.
  • Ability to understand and follow activity schedules.
  • Good communication skills in English and Norwegian.
