The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will support the team to provide efficient and qualitative service to clients in Accounting and Tax department.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Making entries into accounting systems in accordance with accounting and tax regulations
  • Reconciling various accounts
  • Preparing calculations connected with accounting for financial instruments, leasing, provisions, recognizing costs to be capitalized
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements (standalone and consolidated) for statutory purposes
  • Assisting in preparation of group reporting in the format required by the client
  • Preparing tax calculations / returns
  • Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers etc.
  • Verifying approval on all invoices/check requests

Requirements

  • Experience working in several accounting areas
  • Oil & Gas accounting (Joint Venture)
  • Proficiency in Visma, Capego, and/or SAP is an advantage
  • Ability to prioritize client works and keen to learn new things daily
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance and accounting or audit, economics, or related field
  • Full proficiency of English and Norwegian
