About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Contract Attorney to join our team at Nexans Norway. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert guidance and support to our business teams across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support Contract Negotiations: Collaborate with our sales and tendering teams to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, ensuring seamless project execution.
  2. Contract Review and Advice: Provide detailed contract reviews and offer advice on compliance, risk management, and best practices.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, promoting effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  4. Project Support: Assist in the handover process, ensuring smooth project execution, and providing support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Business Law, ideally with experience in civil and common law or a good understanding of common law principles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel, preferably in industrial, infrastructure, or renewable projects.
  • Desirable skills include cross-border project management, multicultural environment comfort, and experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including EPCI projects.
