Process Control and Automation Expert

Role Overview

TN Norway is seeking a skilled Process Control and Automation Expert to join our team in Stavanger. This role requires a strong understanding of process control and automation principles, with a focus on executing scheduled work according to our safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing internal tests and customer acceptance tests of configured control systems, as well as commissioning and start-up support.

You will also be involved in administrative work associated with preparing systems for Factory Acceptance Tests and addressing non-conformances identified during the process.

Additionally, you will provide resolution to complex technical issues and resolve customer disruptive events, coordinating with our Global Support Center.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Perform internal test and customer acceptance tests of the configured control system in-house and at customer sites, as well as commissioning and start-up support.
  2. Be responsible for administrative work associated with preparing a system for Factory Acceptance Test and addressing non-conformances identified during the process.
  3. Provide resolution to sophisticated technical issues and resolve customer disruptive events, coordinating with Emerson Global Support Center.

Requirements

  • Degree in Control & Process Automation or Engineering (Technical School or University).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with digital control systems within the process industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of both Norwegian and English.
  • Driver's license B.
