Wärtsilä is a pioneering technology company that is shaping the future of sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Field Service Coordinator to join our team in Drammen or Bergen, Norway.
About the Role
As a Field Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of international service projects related to the maintenance, repair, and upgrades of our maritime customers' vessels. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues, maintain customer satisfaction, and promote a positive experience with the ANCS brand.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full scope of service projects assigned to you, coordinating multiple service jobs simultaneously in a cost-efficient way.
- Nurture customer satisfaction by acting upon feedback received and analyzing service record files.
- Coordinate Service Orders from order acceptance to invoice payment.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, internal stakeholders, and outsourced agents during project execution, following up and reporting on the status of work orders.
- Ensure that Service Engineers, parts, and tools are available on site, requesting travel documents and booking hotels as needed.
- Ensure completeness and processing of orders, job files, and closes orders when technically complete.
- Contribute to the implementation of process optimization and tool improvements.
What We Expect from You
- Experience working in a service organization with demanding customers and a dynamic work environment.
- Strong organizational, structured, and proactive approach to finding solutions and a positive mindset.
- Disciplined, assertive, and excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
- Technical or maritime background or hands-on experience with electrical and/or automation systems is a plus.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and an ERP system (preferably SAP).
- Team player who seeks the best solution for all parties, not just their own perspective.
