About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our food services program, including micro markets, conference centers, hospitality, catering, office, coffee and beverage service as well as vending.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our program is delivered effectively, meeting and exceeding client expectations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee Food Service operations at assigned locations and activities, including Third Party Service contractors.
- Serve as single point of contact for all food service-related items.
- Establish and maintain sound Food Services management programs, ensuring appropriate staffing in accordance with client operating days.
- Manage catering and hospitality needs for designated client businesses and events located within select workplaces.
- Ensure that food programs meet and/or exceed local safety and health requirements regarding transport, handling, preparation, and service.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five to ten years progressive experience in foodservice/hospitality management.
- Proficient communication skills in both English.
- Ability to work with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Strong vendor management experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
