As part of a major industrial project located in the region, we are recruiting, on behalf of a leading client in the Oil & Energy sector, a Project Quality Inspector (Mechanical).

• Conduct quality inspections on mechanical equipment and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Verify the conformity of mechanical materials and components before and after installation, adhering to established protocols.
• Implement quality control plans and maintain documentation traceability to guarantee accountability.
• Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and ensure their implementation to prevent reoccurrence.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and safety teams to uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and participate in internal and external audits to reinforce quality assurance.

• Degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in quality inspection on industrial projects, preferably in the Oil & Energy sector, with a strong focus on mechanical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of applicable quality standards (ISO, ASME, API, etc.) and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in inspection techniques, measuring instruments, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, understanding complex systems and processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering collaboration and open communication.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken), with strong language skills essential for effective communication.
