Mechanical Resource Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Resource Specialist to join our team at IKM Gruppen AS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert knowledge in the selection, design, operation, and maintenance of pump systems and heat exchangers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct studies and assessments of pump systems and heat exchangers within the oil & gas onshore setting.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals, specifications, and quotations to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
  • Coordinate with clients and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure quality assurance.
  • Prepare MEL and MTO for the delivery of pump systems and heat exchangers.
  • Responsible for heat transfer calculations, equipment data sheets, RFQ technical specifications, and vendor contact/coordination.
Required Expertise

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor degree and many years of relevant experience as a Mechanical PRE. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and sizing of static equipment linked to the treatment of a CO2 feed, including:

  • H2S removal
  • Dehydration
  • CO2 purification
  • CO2 liquidation
  • Refrigeration
  • Associated heat exchangers
