We are seeking a Structural Analysis Consultant to join our Projects & Engineering group in Norway. As a key member of our team, you will provide services for floating offshore wind units, mobile offshore drilling units, and other offshore installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dynamic analysis of offshore marine systems, including riser, mooring, operational, hydrodynamic, stability, or structural analyses.
  • Prepare study reports, technical reports, and procedures to ensure high-quality results.
  • Conduct surveys offshore or onshore on floating units to gather valuable data.
  • Collaborate with clients and sub-contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical, drilling, and subsea engineers to achieve project goals.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Higher technical education within Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related fields (MSc, BSc, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in one or several of the following analysis software packages: Orcaflex, Sesam-package, Gmoor, or Ansys.
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming to automate analysis using Python or Matlab.
  • Experience with 3D modeling (Inventor/Aveva E3D or similar) and 2D design (Autocad/Microstation or similar).
  • Knowledge of steel structures calculations (STAAD, Ansys, Sesam Genie, or Mathcad).
  • Strong theoretical understanding of statics and steel structures.
  • Practical knowledge of steel structure fabrication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian.
