We are looking for an academic leader who can drive innovative research and education initiatives within the field of risk management and societal safety. The Associate Professor will contribute to developing new study programs and promoting collaboration between the University of Stavanger and the Norwegian Customs.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach and supervise students in Norwegian (equivalent to level B2), or another Scandinavian language. A strong emphasis is placed on pedagogical and didactic skills related to higher education.
As a researcher, you will be expected to conduct research and disseminate findings in relevant areas. Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary to establish good working relationships between UiS and the Norwegian Customs.
