Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our team at the International Society for Industrial Ecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the modelling of resource efficiency opportunities on a regional and national scale using life-cycle product-cohort models of buildings and/or infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement life-cycle product-cohort models to analyze resource efficiency opportunities in the building and construction sector.
- Collaborate with our team of experts to develop and refine our building stock scenario models.
- Collect and manage data related to building and infrastructure projects.
- Lead collaborative efforts with international partners to advance our research goals.
- Contribute to the development of scientific papers and project deliverables.
- Coordinate with project and industry partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in industrial ecology, sustainability, or a related field. You should also have excellent research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
