About the Role:

Argeo is a leading subsea service provider, offering a comprehensive package of services across Oil & Gas, Marine Minerals, and Renewables. We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Lead to oversee geotechnical projects for offshore Oil & Gas and Wind solutions.

This role involves managing all aspects of geotechnical engineering, with a strong focus on project management, technical leadership, and client engagement. While primarily office-based, it includes occasional offshore involvement to support project delivery and ensure quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and other geotechnical principles.
  • Client Engagement: Support tenders and commercial proposals by providing technical input, build relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, and present project updates and findings to stakeholders.
  • HSE Compliance: Promote and enforce HSE standards in all geotechnical operations, conduct site visits and audits to uphold safe and environmentally responsible practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 8-10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with 3-5 years in subsea projects and leadership roles.
  • Skills: Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, strong leadership and team management skills, advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
