This position is a key part of our team, responsible for maintaining plant operations technology and ensuring optimal life cycle planning of plant assets.

The Technical Account Manager will be our technical authority for contract deliverables, overseeing all aspects of system maintenance and upgrades. This includes analyzing field alerts, advising on necessary changes to control systems, and ensuring the SAS system is up to date. Additionally, this role involves collaboration with sales teams, contributing to scope of work definitions, estimation, and ensuring technical verification of bids/quotations.

Responsibilities

  • \
  • Maintain overview and knowledge of the plant's operations technology\
  • Contribute to maintain plant integrity, uptime, and provide technology specific input for optimal life cycle planning of the plant assets\
  • Analyze field alerts, advise, and initiate changes to control systems based on these\
  • Responsible for input to CMDB (Configuration Management and Database Operation)\
  • Find the best course of action for maintaining production and minimizing risk in a platform using legacy hardware\
  • Collaborate with sales teams, contribute to scope of work definitions, estimation, and ensure technical verification of bids/quotations\
  • Handling of 800xA field alerts, service packs, rollups, or system patches installations, ensuring the SAS system is up to date\
  • Responsible for the Evolution Planning Document and the Modification Handbook\
  • Support on simulator\
  • Support ABB's ServiceDesk in dealing with technical incidents related to plant\
  • Maintain Sleipner and Gudrun test systems located at the ABB premises in Stavanger\
  • Contribute to project deliveries to plant, this also includes offshore travel and site work\
  • Part of the Account team, working closely with the Project Managers and Account Manager to ensure quality in our deliverables and ensure customer satisfaction\
  • Create and maintain relationships with the customers' technical organization\
