About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Industrialization Engineer to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our industrialization team, you will be responsible for managing the industrial scope for signalling projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design for Manufacturing, Installation, and Cost: Collaborate with engineering teams to perform design for manufacturing, installation, and cost during the design phase.
  • Technical Design Reviews: Participate in technical design reviews to ensure that industrial considerations are applied to part/component obsolescence, sustainability, standardization, mono sourcing, manufacturing or assembly process to reduce impacts on industrial.
  • Industrial Quality, Cost, and Delivery: Manage industrial quality, cost, and delivery to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Return of Experience: Build the return of experience from manufacturing and installation and ensure that this is taken into account for future design.
  • Generic Product Industrial Breakdown Structure (MBOM): Define the generic product industrial breakdown structure (MBOM) to ensure that industrial considerations are applied to part/component obsolescence, sustainability, standardization, mono sourcing, manufacturing or assembly process to reduce impacts on industrial.
  • Quality and Sourcing: Support quality and sourcing in case of non-conformity or issues at suppliers, to find and implement corrective solutions.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in industrialization, manufacturing, and engineering. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in engineering, preferably in process engineering, electronics, or electromechanics.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing production or a similar role.
  • Advanced/business fluent level of English language skills. Norwegian language skills are beneficial.
  • Experience in working with engineering, procurement, quality, international and external suppliers.
  • Desired competencies: autonomous, teamwork, communication, planning, drive for results, and flexibility.
  • Flexibility to travel to a low-medium degree within Europe.
  • Beneficial to have experience with design for manufacturing, installation, or cost.
