Job Description:

The role of the Contract Expert II is to provide strategic advice to project managers on contract strategy, ensuring all aspects of the contract are addressed during the execution phase to maximize project revenues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key member of the project team, participating in commercial strategic discussions and decisions to identify, evaluate, and mitigate contract risks.
  • Provide accurate summaries of contract-related matters, including contract synopsis, contract review, contract obligations matrix, and guidance on contract requirements.
  • Responsible for preparing/reviewing contractual correspondence exchanged during project execution with clients, partners, subcontractors, and authorities.
  • Monitor project deliverables, identify risks and opportunities, and assume responsibility for all contractual and commercial issues related to management of change.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a pertinent discipline preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience with contracts.
  3. At least 2 years of experience with Subsea contracts preferred, oil & gas.
  4. O&G industry experience required.
  5. Strong negotiation skills and experience.
  6. Ability to understand inter-disciplinary relations and requirements.
  7. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  8. Ability to provide open and direct dialogue with stakeholders.
  9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
