About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Wärtsilä, a world leader in marine technology and sustainable energy solutions. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our Exhaust Gas Cleaning and Carbon Capture technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Standardize solutions and documentation
  • Support purchase, sales, and service activities
  • Develop and maintain product maintenance and component approval processes
  • Establish and maintain way-of-working and resolve non-conformities related to Power & El system design
  • Report to management and provide internal and external information and training
Development Responsibilities
  • Find, test, and approve new solutions and hardware
  • Improve solutions based on feedback from service and project organization
  • Establish needed documentation for management decisions
Qualifications
  • Higher technical education in electrical engineering
  • Experience from maritime, Oil & Gas, and/or process industry engineering
  • Experience with ATEX equipment and design tools such as EPLAN and Fusion
  • Good English and Norwegian language skills
