Job Description:

As a Data Platform Architect, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and success of our data platform capabilities. This includes ensuring that our verticals can fully harness the potential of data to fuel business growth and innovation.

Our newly-formed Data Platform is embarking on a journey towards Data Mesh, where shared data is discoverable, addressable, trustworthy, and secure. As a member of our team, you'll work closely with other teams within the Nordic Marketplaces to provide custom vertical functions, while also helping to build decentralised data products using our centralised Event Stream.

We're looking for a passionate problem solver with several years of experience as a developer, eager to expand your knowledge. You value a good balance between speed and quality, are unafraid to express your opinions and embrace your authentic self. Collaboration is at the heart of your work, and you love being part of a team striving for a common goal.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kafka, managed services providers such as Aiven, Confluent, and knowledge of Java and the JVM platform. Additionally, they will have proven experience using Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation, hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban etc).

We offer a dynamic work environment where successes are celebrated and colleagues support each other. Our benefits include festive field trips to build spirit, great cabins in Trysil, and free subscriptions to top news outlets.
