Oil Trader - Proprietary Trading Division

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Proprietary Trading Division as an Oil Trader. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantitative and fundamental analysis, with a proven track record of developing trading strategies in the oil market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profitability
  2. Monitor, manage, and optimize trading positions, ensuring alignment with risk management protocols
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, geopolitical events, and economic data to inform trading decisions
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve trading book issues promptly and effectively
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in oil trading, with a strong focus on quantitative and fundamental analysis
  2. Proficiency in using advanced analytical tools and software for market analysis and strategy development
  3. Deep understanding of oil paper flow, derivatives, and physical trading mechanisms
