As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our product development and distribution to fish farms across the globe.

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will work closely with our Procurement Director to support product development and ensure the timely delivery of orders from suppliers. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain, negotiating better pricing and terms, and maintaining strong relationships with hardware suppliers.

As a Procurement Specialist at Aquabyte, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the procurement process by creating and processing purchase orders for manufacturing
  • Following up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders and reporting any delays
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate delivery of materials
  • Assisting with inventory management, including receiving, auditing, and tracking inventory levels
  • Maintaining accurate records of material purchases, orders, and logistics-related communications
  • Tracking procurement and shipping expenses to ensure adherence to financial targets
  • Supporting the launch of new ERP modules and supply chain initiatives as needed

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience working in electronic hardware supply chains for B2B enterprise products
  • Familiarity with logistics coordination and supply chain processes
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
  • Interest in further developing knowledge of hardware products, procurement strategies, and logistics optimization
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (desired)
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English (required)
