Day-to-Day Activities:The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Testing, configuring, and troubleshooting instrumentation and equipment.
- Assisting the project management team in the design and building of Metocean monitoring systems.
- Resolving support questions and queries.
- Reviewing client technical requests and specifications.
- Procuring equipment using project tools.
- Auditing equipment pool and stock resources.
- Auditing, reviewing, and creating documentation.
- Updating technical drawings.
- Site visits, carrying out audits of client-owned instrumentation.
Requirements:
- Techncian certificate with relevant experience (bachelor's degree or vocational certificate in one or more of fields – electrician, automation technician, computer electronics technician, or similar).
- Electronic and/or software engineering knowledge and experience.
- Excellent attention to detail, quality, and safety.
- Able to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with offshore, onshore, and Client personnel in Norwegian and English.
