Day-to-Day Activities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
  • Testing, configuring, and troubleshooting instrumentation and equipment.
  • Assisting the project management team in the design and building of Metocean monitoring systems.
  • Resolving support questions and queries.
  • Reviewing client technical requests and specifications.
  • Procuring equipment using project tools.
  • Auditing equipment pool and stock resources.
  • Auditing, reviewing, and creating documentation.
  • Updating technical drawings.
  • Site visits, carrying out audits of client-owned instrumentation.


Requirements:
  • Techncian certificate with relevant experience (bachelor's degree or vocational certificate in one or more of fields – electrician, automation technician, computer electronics technician, or similar).
  • Electronic and/or software engineering knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality, and safety.
  • Able to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with offshore, onshore, and Client personnel in Norwegian and English.
